First Novel Prize for 2016

The Singing Ship by Rebecca Winterer

Del Sol Press seeks to publish exceptional work by both new and recognized writers, as well as republish literary works that DSP considers extremely significant and that have gone out of print. DSP’s approach is eclectic, but their emphasis is on original, unique, and accessible work WITH AN EDGE. As such, the press eschews noncommunicative forms (language poetry rip-offs, Finnegan’s Wake imitations, and so forth) and genre fiction (unless exceptional). DSP’s First Novel Prize opens in January and closes in May each year.
